Taxis

Coolair@ERES have a long and very specialised involvement in the "black cab" taxi market. In 1994 we developed a system for the LTI Carbodies Fairway, to meet a demand both for taxi drivers (front systems offer a safer and more comfortable working environment for the drivers) and passengers, offering a comfortable, cool area in which to travel around the busy streets of many of our many cities.

We have worked very closely with KPM UK Taxis Plc, London's largest independent LTI Carbodies taxi dealership, to install and maintain some 1800 vehicles with air conditioning systems.

When in 1997 LTI Carbodies developed and introduced their new cab, the TX1. Coolair were soon able to offer an air conditioning system for the new vehicle. Again, systems were developed on a risk to Coolair basis, if the system did not work, then it would not sell. Of course, with the Coolair expertise, the new system is an excellent seller and we have sold many systems for TX1 vehicles in the last two years.
